Field Hockey's Rigual and van Leeuwen Earn MPSF Weekly Awards

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - University of Delaware field hockey midfielder Sarah Rigual and back Linde van Leeuwen earned the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's weekly awards for the week of October 14.
Rigual picked up the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week laurel, while van Leeuwen earned the honor on defense.Â
Both won their first career weekly award, and first in the MPSF.
Rigual scored her second goal of the season on her only shot of the game against No. 5 Wake Forest.
van Leeuwen made her 12th consecutive start and posed a constant presence on the attack and back line.

The Blue Hens return home this weekend, to face Old Dominion on Sunday, October 19, at noon. This game will be the alumni game and the pink game.Â
