Rowing Finishes Out Fall Season at Head of the Schuylkill

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware rowing closed out the fall season at the Head of the Schuylkill on Sunday.

The 2V8+ and Freshman/Novice 8+ picked up top five finishes in the event, with the 2V8+ finishing fourth out of 54 boats.

The Varsity 8+, racing in the Glass Slipper in the Championship 8+, placed sixth out of 27 boats.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Six crews competed across different events against DI, DII, DIII, collegiate club, and open club teams.
This was the first time that the Fightin' Blue Hens competed against Mid-American Conference opponents, Temple University and the University of Toledo, since joining the conference on July 1, 2025.
Delaware also had an alumni 8+ compete in the day's events. The crew was comprised of young alumnae from the classes of 2022-25.
The Alumni 8+ finished fourth of nine in their race.
