Six Women's Soccer Athletes Earned All-CUSA Honors

DALLAS - Six student-athletes from the University of Delaware women's soccer program received CUSA postseason accolades, the league announced on Friday.

Headlining the honors are freshman midfielder Lilli Lubic and senior defender Constanze Viehmann, both of whom were named to the first team. Freshman forward Adiat Olaogun-Dickson and sophomore midfielder Gabby Riley were named to the second team. Junior forward Maggie Groh was named to the third team. Goalkeeper Sophia Hall joins Olaogun-Dickson and Lubic on the freshman team.Â

Lubic made an immediate impact in her first season with the Fightin' Blue Hens. In 16 games, she made nine starts and logged nearly 1,000 minutes on the field. The midfielder from Ashburn, Virginia is tied for the team lead in goals with five, second in points with 13, and tied for third in assists with three. She's come up clutch in late game moments this season. She had a multi-goal game, including the game-winning goal with less than 10 seconds left against UTEP, scored the go-ahead goal at UMBC, and the game-tying goal against Towson in a 2-2 result. She earned CUSA offensive player of the week honors back on September 2.Â

Viehmann has been a key piece of the Blue Hens defense over her entire career. For the third-straight season, she earned all-conference honors, including a Coastal Athletic Association third team selection in 2023 and a CAA second team selection in 2024. The team captain from Landenburg, Germany appeared in 12 games and made 11 starts with 780 minutes of playing time. Offensively, she scored the game-tying goal against NM State. Defensively, the Blue Hens defense ranks first in CUSA in team save percentage (0.823), as well as second in goals against average (0.824) and total goals allowed (14).

Riley has played a major impact for the Blue Hens squad. The sophomore from Middletown, Delaware set career highs in goals (three), assists (five) and points (11). Riley is tied for the team lead with assists and is one of five players with double digit points. She appeared and started in all 17 of the Blue Hens contests, and logged 1456 minutes, the most amongst field players on the Blue Hens squad. She scored her first career goal against Cornell on September 4. She had multiple assists against UTEP, including the assist on the game-winning goal.Â

Olaogun-Dickson has been a major offensive contributor in her first season with the Blue Hens. The freshman from Sicklerville, New Jersey appeared in all 17 games, made 14 starts and logged 1039 minutes of playing time. She is tied for the team lead in goals (five) and tied for third in points (12). She opened her collegiate career with a goal against Mount St. Mary's. She also scored the game-winning goal against Navy, was credited with the assist on the game-winning goal against William & Mary, and scored the game-tying goal against Missouri State.Â

The junior from Dallastown, Pennsylvania leads the team in points (15) and is tied for the team lead in goals (five) and assists (five). She started off the season in a big way. She scored three goals, and was credited with two assists in the opening weekend. This led to wins over Mount St. Mary's and Bucknell and a CUSA offensive player of the week honors. She also scored the game-winning goal with less than three minutes remaining in regulation against William & Mary, and scored her first CUSA goal against LA Tech.

Hall has been one of the best freshman goalkeepers in the country this season. She appeared and started in all 17 games this season. The freshman from Malvern, Pennsylvania is a three-time CUSA goalkeeper of the week. She leads all freshman goalkeepers in the conference in goals against average (0.834), save percentage (0.821), goals allowed (14), minutes played (1510:04), shutouts (six) and saves (64). The Blue Hens defense leads the conference in save percentage (0.823), second in goals allowed (14), goals against average (0.824).

The women's soccer program is set to compete in the CUSA Tournament against Sam Houston on Sunday, November 2, at 1:30 p.m. The game can be streamed on ESPN+.
