Four Women's Soccer Student Athletes Receive CSC Academic All-District Honors

NEWARK, Del. - Olivia Bley, Maggie Groh, Gabby Riley and Constanze Viegmann from the University of Delaware women's soccer program received Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a player must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically. The student athlete must have either played in 90 percent of the team's games or started in 66 percent.
Bley, who was also named to Conference USA's all-academic team, played all 18 contests and made four starts. In 626 minutes of field action, Bley scored a goal against Mount St. Mary and was credited with an assist at UMBC. The sophomore from West Chester, Pennsylvania, is majoring in Business Analytics.
Groh played in all 18 games, and made 13 starts. She led the Fightin' Blue Hens in points (15), was tied for the team lead in goals scored (five) and was second in assists (five). She earned third team All-CUSA honors. The junior from Dallastown, Pennsylvania is majoring in kinesiology, and received CSC Academic All-District honors last season.
Riley appeared and started in all 18 games for UD. She led all field players in minutes played (1566). Riley also led the team in assists (six) and contributed three goals. She received second team All-CUSA honors. The Middletown, Delaware native is a sophomore who is majoring in kinesiology.
Viehmann appeared in 13 games, and made 12 starts for Delaware this season. She was a defensive anchor in the 890 minutes she played on the field, and contributed one goal on offense. She was named to the CUSA All-Academic team, and first team all-conference. The senior from Landenburg, Germany is majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and was named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2024.
