Men’s Lacrosse Ranked in All Three Major Polls

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team is now ranked in all three major polls, the organizations announced on Monday.

The Blue Hens are ranked #16 in the USILA Coaches Poll, and #18 in the Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Magazine polls.

UD pulled off a 13-12 upset of the #18/19/18 Utah Utes on Saturday to start the season off 1-0. CAA Offensive Player of the Week Bennett Parmer scored his first-career hat-trick en route to four goals in his collegiate debut. Brendan Powers, Jason Kolar, and John McCurry each added two goals, while Cory Capri and Jack Kolbe potted their first goal in a Delaware uniform. Patrick Gillin tallied his first-career goal to go with three caused turnovers.
