Cherisier Named CAA Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware's Ande'a Cherisier was tabbed CAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. The Blue Hens went 2-0 this past week with wins over Monmouth and William & Mary as part of a five-game winning streak.
Cherisier averaged 22.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg en route to two of the best performances of her career. On Friday against Monmouth, Cherisier's 21 points tied a career-best at the time, while her 10 field goals set a new career-high on 14 attempts. To cap off the weekend on Sunday, Cherisier scored 24 points on 9-of-11 from the floor to go with four rebounds and four assists. She went 19-for-25 on the weekend, scoring at a 76-percent clip.
