NEWARK, Del. – Ten different Blue Hens scored at least one goal in the University of Delaware men's lacrosse team's 18-3 win over the Hampton Pirates on Saturday afternoon at Delaware Stadium. The Blue Hens improve to 5-3 (1-1 CAA), while the Pirates fall to 0-10 (0-2 CAA).

HENS HIGHLIGHTS

Ten different Blue Hens scored at least one goal.
Delaware's 15-goal lead is a new season-high.
UD set new season-bests in shots (68) and shots on goal (44).
Hank D'Ambrogi tied his career-high with four goals, while adding one assist.
John McCurry tallied his third hat-trick of the season.
Jack Kolbe, Owen McGee, and Finn Morgan each added two-goal games.
Michael Straub set career-highs in faceoffs won (18), faceoffs taken (20), and ground balls (9).

HOW IT HAPPENED

Delaware led 8-0 after the first quarter with goals from seven different Hens.
The Blue Hens outscored the Pirates 3-2 in the second to take an 11-2 lead into the locker room.
After Aidan Koff replaced Kevin Ellington between the pipes for the second half, UD outpaced Hampton 4-1 in the third frame.
In the final stanza, the Blue & Gold tacked on three more scores to finish with an 18-3 advantage.

GAME NOTES

Delaware improves to 3-0 all-time against Hampton.
The Blue Hens have outscored the Pirates 58-7 all-time.
Ten Blue Hens made their season debuts: Wells Bergstrom, Brooks Bond, Michael Dickinson-Tooman, Koff, Franky Fix, Luke Galgano, TJ Gravante, Justin Sanelli, Straub, and Matthew Warburton.
Dickinson-Tooman and Warburton's season debuts also marked their first-collegiate action.
