Namakonov Competes at NCAA Swimming & Diving National Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Matvei Namakonov from the University of Delaware swimming & diving program competed at the NCAA Swimming & Diving National Championships from March 27-29.
Namakonv competed in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 breast. He recorded times of 19.63 in the 50 free, 51.98 in the 100 breast and 42.84 in the 100 free.
The junior from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan is the second Blue Hen in two years, along with Toni Sabev, to compete in the NCAA Championships.
Namakonov broke the program record and Coastal Athletic Association Championship record in the 100 breast at 51.16. He also owns the program record in the 50 free (19.43), 100 free (42.53) and 100 fly (46.86)
