This Week in the HeNLL - Quarterfinals

NEWARK, Del. – Following the single-elimination quarterfinals round of the HeNLL playoffs, three former Blue Hens moved on to the semifinals this weekend.
Mike Robinson (2020-24) and the 3-seed Halifax Thunderbirds took down Curtis Dickson (2007-10) and the 6-seed Calgary Roughnecks, 16-12, on Saturday. Robinson scored a highlight-reel goal to go with five assists and five loose balls, while Dickson tallied a team-high eight points (three goals, five assists) with three loose balls and a blocked shot.
Matt Acchione (2021-24), who remains on injured reserve for the 2-seed Saskatchewan Rush, watched his team defeat the 7-seed Georgia Swarm, 13-9, on Saturday.
Owen Grant (2019-23) and the 4-seed Vancouver Warriors defeated the 5-seed Rochester Knighthawks, 15-10, on Saturday. Grant recorded a goal and an assist, adding three loose balls, one block, and one caused turnover.
Jake Govett (2019-22) and the 8-seed San Diego Seals' season came to an end on Friday, losing to the 1-seed Buffalo Bandits, 5-4. Govett nabbed a loose ball and caused a turnover. Cam Acchione (2021-24) remains off the Seals' active roster on the Physically Unable to Perform List. Jordan Hall (2003-07) is a member of the San Diego Seals' coaching staff, serving as the Offensive Coordinator and Director of Player Personnel.
