Ayeni Finishes Second in Discus Throw at USATF U20 Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Throws athlete Olamide Ayeni from the University of Delaware track & field team placed second in the discus throw at the USATF U20 Championships on Thursday.
The freshman from Denton, Texas set a new personal record in the event, throwing for 52.93 meters. Her previous personal record was set back at the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships.
Olamide's teammate, Emarie Jackson, is set to compete in the shot put at the U20 Championships this evening.
