Blue Hens in the PLL - Week 1

NEWARK, Del. – As Week 1 in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) began this past weekend, two former Blue Hens found themselves in the action.
Chris Collins (2002-05), an assistant coach for the California Redwoods, helped lead his team to a 15-12 win over the Denver Outlaws on Friday night.
Owen Grant (2019-23), a former member of Collins' Redwoods, made his Boston Cannons debut to the tune of a 16-12 victory over the New York Atlas. Grant, who was acquired by Boston in an offseason trade with California, recorded two caused turnovers and two ground balls in the win.
