Graeber Signs With Los Angeles Angels Organization

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware baseball outfielder Aaron Graeber signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Los Angeles Angels organization following the conclusion of the Major League Baseball draft on Tuesday.
The West Deptford, New Jersey native finished his UD career leading the team in batting average (.351), hits (79), home runs (14), RBIs (52), and stolen bases (14). During the 2025 season, he had a 22-game hitting streak from March 28-May 2, and had 21 multi-hit games. His play earned First Team All-CAA honors.Â
In the two-year career with the Fightin' Blue Hens, Graeber appeared in 105 games and made 103 starts. He hit .333 with an on base percentage of .407 and a slugging percentage of .608. He notched 141 hits, 28 home runs, 104 RBIs, 25 stolen bases, and 51 walks.Â
After graduation, Graeber competed in the MLB draft league with the Trenton Thunder, and played in the MLB Draft League All-Star game.Â
Graeber becomes the first Blue Hen to sign an MLB contract since 2021, when James Meeker signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.
