Blue Hens in the PLL - Week 5 - University of Delaware Athletics

NEWARK, Del. – Week 5 of the PLL was hosted in San Diego, California for the Redwoods Homecoming.

Owen Grant (2019-23) and the Boston Cannons were defeated by the Carolina Chaos, 14-12 on Saturday. Grant caused one turnover and scooped three ground balls. It was an exciting week for Grant outside of the game, as he was named an All-Star starter for the East Team for the first time in his career. Grant will also be participating in the Fastest Shot portion of the Lexus PLL & WLL Skills Competition.

Chris Collins (2002-05) and his California Redwoods played two games last weekend as the home team, falling in both contests. The Redwoods lost 18-12 on Friday to the Denver Outlaws, and 12-9 on Saturday to Matt DeLuca (2017-20) and the Philadelphia Waterdogs. DeLuca did not appear in the game.
