Blue Hens in the PLL - Week 11

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Week 11 of the PLL was hosted in Cambridge, Massachusetts for the Cannons Homecoming. The final week of the regular season led to two Blue Hens punching their ticket to the postseason.
Chris Collins (2002-05) and his California Redwoods defeated Owen Grant (2019-23) and the Boston Cannons, 18-17, last Friday to open the weekend. Grant notched two points (one goal and one assist) to go with two ground balls.
Matt DeLuca (2017-20) watched his Philadelphia Waterdogs fall to the New York Atlas, 20-19, last Saturday.
The weekend wrapped up with Grant and the Cannons dropping their second-consecutive contest, this time at the hands of the Maryland Whipsnakes, 15-8, last Saturday. Grant scooped a ground ball in the loss.
Collins (California) and DeLuca (Philadelphia) will represent Delaware in the PLL Playoffs, beginning in the Quarterfinals next Saturday, August 23.
