Hall Receives Conference USA Goalkeeper of the Week for Second Time

DALLAS – For the second time this season, freshman goalkeeper Sophia Hall was named the Conference USA Goalkeeper of the Week; the organization announced on Tuesday.
Hall is one of three UD athletes that received player of the week honors this season, along with Maggie Groh and Lilli Lubic.
Hall played a big role for the Fightin' Blue Hens defensive shutout against William & Mary on Friday. She collected a career-high eight saves in the win against the Tribe. The eight saves is also tied for the most amount of saves under third year head coach Kelly Lawrence.
Friday was Hall's fifth shutout of the season, which is the most amongst division one freshman goalkeepers.
The Blue Hens 7-0-2 start of the season is the best under Lawrence and the best in program history.
UP NEXT
CUSA play begins as the Blue Hens welcome FIU to Grant Stadium on Sunday, September 21noon.
