NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has finalized its full schedule for the 2025-26 season. The season will tip-off on Monday, November 3 when the Fightin' Blue Hens host Bloomsburg.
The Hens will play six games in November, including the aforementioned opener against Bloomsburg. The November slate continues with a home contest against Navy (Friday, November 7) before UD hits the road for three-consecutive road bouts against Old Dominion (Wednesday, November 12), American (Monday, November 17), and Loyola Maryland (Wednesday, November 26). The month comes to a close with Towson making a trip up I-95 to the Bob Carpenter Center on Sunday, November 30.
The Blue & Gold will head to New York for a matchup with Colgate (Friday, December 5) followed by back-to-back home contests against George Washington (Wednesday, December 10) and La Salle (Wednesday, December 17). The Hens will then take part in the 30th Annual Hawk Classic in Philadelphia along with Akron, Le Moyne, and the host, Saint Joseph's (Saturday, December 20-Sunday, December 21). UD closes out its non-conference schedule with a road matchup at Harvard on Monday, December 29.
Delaware opens its inaugural 18-game Conference USA slate on the road with matchups at UTEP (Friday, January 2) and New Mexico State (Sunday, January 4). It will be the first game between the Fightin' Blue Hens and the Miners in program history, while the Hens will make their first ever trip to Las Cruces after previously playing in 1986 in the Delaware Field House, the only time the schools have met.
The Bob Carpenter Center gets its first taste of Conference USA women's basketball the following week as UD hosts LA Tech on Thursday, January 8, and Sam Houston on Saturday, January 10. The Lady Techsters and Blue Hens have never squared off, while the Bearkats and Hens met once previously in 2012 at the Bob with Delaware emerging victorious, 63-31.
January's homestand continues with a battle against Liberty (Saturday, January 17), the second matchup all-time between the Blue & Gold and the Lady Flames as Delaware defeated Liberty in 2001, 62-56.
Delaware travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Bowling Green, Kentucky for games against Middle Tennessee (Thursday, January 22) and WKU (Saturday, January 24), respectively. This will mark the first-time in program history that the Hens have faced both the Blue Raiders and Lady Toppers.
To close out January, UD hosts fellow CUSA-newcomer Missouri State on Thursday, January 29, followed by FIU on Saturday, January 31. Both games will mark the first meeting between the programs.
As the calendar flips to February, Delaware meets two more conference foes for the first time, traveling to Kennesaw, Georgia and Kennesaw State on Thursday, February 5, and Jacksonville, Alabama and Jax State on Saturday, February 7.
The rest of February consists of NM State at home (Thursday, February 12), UTEP at home (Saturday, February 14), at FIU (Thursday, February 19), at MSU (Saturday, February 21), WKU at home (Thursday, February 26), and MTSU at home (Saturday, February 28).
The regular season wraps up with a matchup at Liberty on Friday, March 6. The Hens will then travel down to Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama for the 2026 CUSA Women's Basketball Championship from March 10-14.
Times for all games will be released at a later date.
