Merashoff Earns Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Defensive Player of the Week

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - University of Delaware field hockey earned their fourth consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.Â
Goalkeeper Kristi Merashoff picked up her second MPSF defensive weekly nod in a row.
Merashoff earned the laurel after stopping 19 shots across three games, including a ten-save performance against Ohio State. The double-digit save day was her second of the season and her career.
In Delaware's hard-fought battle at No. 15 Saint Joseph's, she saved seven shots, including two penalty strokes.
