Men's Lacrosse's Morris Drafted by NLL's Rochester Knighthawks

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's lacrosse alum, OJ Morris, was drafted by the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) in the 2025 NLL Draft. Morris was selected 79th overall in the fifth round.
Morris' best season came in 2025 as a senior playing in all 13 games as Delaware's UD's number one faceoff option. The Dublin, Ohio native finished second in the country and first in the CAA in faceoff percentage (.686), while ranking third in the conference in ground balls per game (5.23) en route to an All-CAA First Team nod. He was one of three players in the CAA named a Midseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse in 2025. He was also named an All-American Honorable Mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine and the USIA, and a USILA Scholar All-American.
Morris becomes the 15th Blue Hen to be drafted to the NLL and it marks the fourth-consecutive season UD has had a player drafted to the NLL.
