Women's Tennis Cruises to 6-1 Victory over Villanova in Home Opener

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware women's tennis defeated Villanova in its home opener by a score of 6-1 at Delcastle Tennis Center Friday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens improve to 2-1, while the Wildcats drop to 1-4. This was UD's seventh-straight win over Villanova.
ON THE RECORD
"Solid win for us today," head coach Pablo Montana said. "Big credit to our No. 3 doubles team for the comeback; that gave us real momentum heading into singles. Singles was strong across the board, and we competed well on all six courts. Great focus and fight throughout the lineup. We will carry this momentum into Sunday against FDU and get back to work."
