HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hens jumped on the board first thanks to some aggressive baserunning from Mineo in the bottom of the first. He led off with a single and stole second. On a ground out to the pitcher, he took off for third and came home on a throwing error.
- Mineo led off the third with another single and eventually came around to score on an RBI knock by Bouldin to give Delaware a 2-0 advantage.
- Rider's offense came to life in the fifth inning, scoring four runs on five hits to take the lead.
- A Carr RBI double in the bottom of the sixth scored Jeremy Wolf from first to chip into the deficit.
- In the bottom of the seventh, Davis reached on a one-out single before Bouldin launched his third home run of the season over the left field wall to put the Blue Hens on top.
- Pugh came out of the bullpen and allowed just two baserunners over the final three frames to close the door and seal Delaware's third-straight victory.
