Final Results

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The University of Delaware men's golf team carded a three-round score of 34-over par 886 to finish eighth at the 12-team Golden Horseshoe Invitational, hosted by William & Mary. The two-day, three-round tournament was held at the par-71, 6,817-yard Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.

T62. Matthew Homer – 81-78-74=233 (+20)
T57. Caleb Itzoe (Ind.) – 72-80-78=230 (+17)

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Blue Hens recorded 49 total birdies over the 54-hole tournament, including 18 during Monday's second round when they turned in a team score of 9-over par 293.
Areephun had 11 birdies for the tournament, carding five in each the second and third rounds, respectively.
Vuradi fired a 1-under par 70 in the second round, recording five of his eight birdies.
Cheng-En Wu was also in double figures with 10 birdies over his 54 holes.

UP NEXT

Delaware will be right back in action next week when it travels south to the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, hosted by South Alabama. The two-day, three-round tournament will be held March 30-31.
