Track & Field Competes at Raleigh Relays

RALIEGH, N.C. -Â The University of Delaware track & field team finished up a three-day competition at Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State, this weekend.Â
RESULTS
- Sophia Axelrod was 11th in the hammer throw with a new personal best mark of 55.93 meters. Her mark ranks fourth in program history and makes it back-to-back weeks Axelrod set a new personal best.
- Lauren Leath earned an 11th place finish in the 400-meters at 54.31 seconds. Her time is a new personal best and ranks 5th all-time. Morgan Mims also broke into the program top 10 in the 400-meters as well with a time of 56.31
- Rachel Starr's time of 35:43.74 in the 10,000-meters ranks sixth all-time in program history.Â
- Olamide Ayeni was fourth in the discus throw at 50.90 meters.
- The top finisher in the shot put was Ayeni (14.04 meters), Rachel Schmitt in the javelin throw (41.77 meters), Taylor Stone in the high jump (1.62 meters), Isabelle Kapoor in the 100-meter hurdles (15.00 seconds), Eva Denis in the 100-meters (12.48 seconds), Annika Leinweber in the 5,000-meters (17:58.22), Kadence Dumas in the 800-meters (2:09.41), Rachel Kuehl in the long jump (5.51 meters), Morgan Mims in the 200-meters (25.21 seconds), Leah Clear in the 1500-meters (4:48.58).

Delaware is set to compete at the Colonial Open, hosted by William & Mary, on April 3-4.
