NEWARK, Del. - For the second-straight game, the University of Delaware baseball program defeated Canisius in seven innings, this time by a score of 10-0, on Sunday at Bob Hannah Stadium.

The Fightin' Blue Hens overall record improves to 7-9 on the season and earn the series win over the Golden Griffins.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Evan Bouldin had a multi-home run game, going 2-for-4, and drove in three runs. It is the second straight game a Blue Hen hit multiple home runs in the same game, along with Vincent Davis in yesterday's win.
Bouldin, along with Jeremy Wolf (2-for-3, RBI, 3 runs scored), and Anthony Charles (2-for-2, RBI, run scored) had multiple hits.
Elias Conway started the game and picked up his first win of the season. He pitched three scoreless innings, allowed zero hits, and struck out four batters.
Nick Bilotto and Ben Moyzan pitched two innings a piece to close the game. Both players pitched two innings and struck out three batters.
Today's shutout was the first of the season. The last time the Blue Hens shut out an opponent was back on May 10, 2025 at Monmouth.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Delaware got the bats rolling right away with a five-run first inning. The rally started with a Davis double to left center scoring LT Cockrill and Sal Mineo, followed by an Anthony Charles RBI single, and Noah Burroughs hit a double down the left field line.
In the second inning, Bouldin hit his first home run of the game, a solo shot to left field. Two innings later, he hit his second of the day, and drove in Mineo in the process.
Anthony DeCesare grounded out to first and scored Wolf to extend the lead to 9-0 in the bottom of the third.
Wolf secured the win with a solo home run in the sixth.

UP NEXT
