GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the Delaware men's tennis team received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team honors, the organization announced Tuesday.
Tobey Lock, Euan Mackenzie, and Luke Tollenaar all earned the nod from College Sports Communicators for carrying at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, being at least a sophomore athletically and academically, and playing in at least 75-percent of matches with a team score.
All three student-athletes make the all-district team for the second time in as many years, doing so in 2024-25 as well. Lock and Mackenzie did so as juniors, while Tollenaar was one-of-two at his previous institution to pick up a spot as a sophomore.
Lock, a senior from Bristol, United Kingdom, earned Conference USA First-Team Singles and First Team Doubles laurels in 2025-26. The sport management major was a mainstay at No. 1 singles, going 11-8 in singles action, playing 17 of the 19 matches in first singles. In dual action, Lock started out 8-0 in the spring season. He also was part of Delaware tennis history as he was part of the first doubles team from Delaware to ever make it to the NCAA Singles & Doubles Tournament.
Mackenzie, the other part of the duo who qualified for the NCAA Singles & Doubles Tournament, picked up his second Academic All-District nod in a row. The economics major from Scotland earned Conference USA First Team Doubles in his senior season.
Tollenaar, a junior in his first season in Newark after two years at Campbell, immediately became a force in singles action, becoming the 14th student-athlete in program history to achieve 18-or-more singles wins in a season as he went 18-6, including 11-2 in tournament play. The global business major picked up a CUSA Second Team Singles plaudit for his play on the court.
