Shea Frost Joins Ice Hockey Roster

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware ice hockey program added its second transfer this month as Shea Frost will join the Fightin' Blue Hens for the 2026-27 season, head coach Allison Coomey announced on Thursday. Frost, a defenseman from Andover, Massachusetts, comes to Delaware after spending the last four seasons at Boston College.
Frost is the second transfer to sign with the Blue Hens this month, joining Hailey Anderson, a forward from Franklin Pierce.

Bio: Played four years of varsity hockey at Cushing Academy, serving as an alternate captain as a senior… Helped lead Cushing to a NEPSAC Small School championship during the 2020-21 season… As a freshman, was named the Cushing Academy Defensive Player of the Year and was selected to the Winchendon School All-Tournament Team… Won a national championship in 2018 and was the national runner-up in 2019 for the North Shore Vipers… Skated for CPC/NA Elite from 2019-21… Also played softball and field hockey at Cushing, serving as a softball team captain and helping lead the team to a state championship… In the classroom, was a high honors student.
