Delaware has 12 Student-Athletes Named to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware had 12 student-athletes recognized on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. The at-large team recognizes student-athletes across four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Schools were allowed to put forth a maximum of six men's nominees and six women's nominees from a variety of sports including men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, ice hockey, field hockey and rowing. To be eligible, a nominee must have been a starter or important reserve during the 2025-26 season, must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in undergraduate and (if applicable) graduate studies and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Caleb Itzoe, Men's Golf
Itzoe is a business analytics major and owns a 3.68 GPA through his sophomore year. Itzoe appeared in six tournaments for the Fightin' Blue Hens this season, recording a 75.22 stroke average over 18 rounds. He finished with two rounds under par and one round at even par, with a season-low round of 69. Itzoe tied for 12th at the Blue Hen Intercollegiate and was a member of the CUSA Academic Honor Roll.
Aryan Vuradi, Men's Golf
Vuradi has a 3.69 cumulative GPA as a biology major. In his first season in the Blue & Gold, he appeared in 10 tournaments and ranked second on the squad with a 73.14 stroke average across 29 rounds. He recorded eight rounds under par, firing a season-low score of 67 this spring. Vuradi had two top-10 finishes, highlighted by tying for fourth place at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. He was named the CUSA Men's Golfer of the Week in April and was a member of the CUSA Academic Honor Roll.
Louie Atkinson, Men's Lacrosse
Atkinson, a junior finance major, has a 3.88 cumulative GPA during his time at Delaware. The Brookhaven, Pa. native started all 13 games on defense for the Hens in 2026 with 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
Nick Cowen, Men's Lacrosse
Cowen, a graduate international business major, has a 3.75 cumulative GPA at UD. The Franklin Square, N.Y. native started all 13 games on defense for the Hens in 2026 with 34 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers, landing him on the A-10 Second Team and A-10 All-Academic Team.
Tyler Owings, Men's Lacrosse
Owings, a junior accounting major, has a 3.63 cumulative GPA in his three years in the 302. In 2026, the Hereford, Md. native played in all 13 games with 12 starts. He recorded nine goals and eight assists for 17 points with two ground balls.
Jason Kolar, Men's Lacrosse
Kolar, a graduate international business major, has a 3.58 cumulative GPA as a Blue Hen. This spring, the Mount Airy, Md. started 12 games, notching nine goals with four assists for 13 points and four ground balls.
Sarah Rigual, Field Hockey
Rigual, a junior kinesiology major, has a 3.73 cumulative GPA through her first three years at Delaware. In 2025, she had a standout campaign starting in all 18 games, tallying three goals and seven assists in the midfield. In February, the Fredericksburg, Va., native was named to the United States U-21 Women's National Field Hockey Team.
Kaitlin Finnegan, Ice Hockey
Finnegan received a certificate in strategic leadership from Delaware this spring with a 3.83 GPA. She also held a 3.72 cumulative GPA through her undergraduate career and a 4.0 GPA while earning her first master's degree. Finnegan led the Blue Hens in their inaugural season, finishing with a team-leading 13 points on a team-high eight goals and five assists. She also finished second on the team with 68 blocked shots, which ranked second nationally among forwards. The co-captain was the recipient of the AHA Individual Sportsmanship Award.
Mary Grace Dunigan, Women's Golf
Dunigan owns a 3.84 cumulative GPA as a biological sciences major. She finished third on the team this year with a 74.70 stroke average, playing in all 11 tournaments and 33 team rounds. The junior had a team-high 10 rounds at either even or under par and tied for the team lead with three top-10 finishes. Dunigan led Delaware to a runner-up finish at the Badger Invitational in the fall as she tied for third with a 7-under par 209, tying for the third-best 54-hole gross score in program history. She was named to the All-CUSA Third Team and the CUSA Women's Golf All-Academic Second Team.
Morgan Gore, Women's Lacrosse
Gore earns her second-straight nod to the academic all-district team as she graduated with a finance degree from Delaware this spring with a 3.98 cumulative GPA. The Crofton, Md. native capped her career being named the ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, ASUN Midfielder of the Year, and to the All-ASUN First Team. She ranked second on the team with 32 goals and finished with 37 points, 17 ground balls, 14 draw controls and 13 caused turnovers. A team captain, Gore had 12 multi-point games and 10 multi-goal games with seven hat tricks in 17 games played.
Jaclyn Marszal, Women's Lacrosse
Marszal, who graduated from Delaware last month with a communications degree and a 3.92 cumulative GPA, earns her second-consecutive selection to the academic all-district team. She earned All-ASUN First Team honors as a senior as she tallied 26 goals and a team-high 40 assists for 66 points. The 40 assists are the third-most in program history. Marszal led the ASUN in assists and assists per game (2.22), while ranking fourth in points and sixth in points per game (3.67). In 18 games played, she recorded 16 multi-point efforts and seven multi-goal performances.
Meaghan Leahy, Rowing
Leahy, a biological sciences major, owns a cumulative 3.99 GPA through four years at Delaware. She appeared in all six regattas, rowing in the Varsity Eight boat. The Arlington, Va., native was named All-MAC First Team for her performance in the 1V8 at the MAC Championships.
Athletic Eligibility
Each sport had its own athletic eligibility requirements. For field hockey, nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
