At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad as a sophomore longstick midfielder • looking to make a bigger impact on team as a sophomore • has tremendous skills and should add solid depth to the position.
2013 Season: Saw first action of his career, playing in 11 games with one start at longstick midfielder and defense • earned first career start in season opener vs. High Point • collected 17 groundballs and caused three turnovers on the season • recorded season-high five groundballs vs. Bucknell and added three vs. Villanova • team went 5-10 for head coach Bob Shillinglaw.
2012 Season: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility • team went 6-9 under Shillinglaw.
High School: Standout in lacrosse and soccer at St. Anne's Belfield High School • four-year standout as a defender and longstick midfielder • led team to consecutive state championship seasons in 2008 and 2009 and a state runner-up showing in 2010 when the squad went 18-2 • three-year starter in soccer as a striker • earned All-State honors twice in lacrosse and was a three-time All-Prep honoree • selected as school's Defenseman of the Year.
Personal: Charles Hamlin "Chuck" Schreck • born May 17, 1992 in California • son of Charles and Christine Schreck • economics major • has a younger sister • has traveled to Nicaragua two summers and helped build houses for low-income families • enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and fly fishing in his spare time • has worked as a youth lacrosse coach during the summer.
