Attended Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington, Del., where he swam, ran cross country, and did track and field
Participated in the National Honor Society, was the treasurer for the Spanish Honor Society, and was Class President and Valedictorian
Under Head Coaches Kelli and Dave Bradley, he was selected to the First Team Academic All-Conference and All-State (2016-2020), was an honorable mention his freshman and sophomore years, and made the First Team All-State for swimming his junior and senior years. Selected First Team All-Conference for swimming (2016-2020)
