AT DELAWARE
Four-time letter winner for the Blue Hens • outstanding athlete who is looked to make an impact on the draw and in the transition game • second in school and Delaware Stadium history with eight draw controls against Georgetown (2/16/13) • finished career tied for 11th in program history with 44 caused turnovers • graduated in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.
2016 SEASONStarted all 17 games in final season at Delaware • Janet Smith Grit Award winner • completed season with 19 ground balls, 13 caused turnovers and six draw controls • tied a career-high with four ground balls in 10-6 victory at Georgetown (Feb. 12) • helped guide the Hens defensive corps to a 13th-place ranking in NCAA Division I standings with a scoring defense of 7.53 • selected to participate in the IWLCA North-South All-Star Game • CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2015 SEASON
Posted 17 starts in 18 games played • finished third on the team with career-bests of 26 groundballs and 16 caused turnovers for a Delaware defensive unit that ranked fourth in the NCAA with a scoring defense of 7.0 • team also ranked 16th with 9.59 caused turnovers per game • added 10 draw controls, which was good for fifth for the Hens • named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week on March 30 after tallying five caused turnovers and eight groundballs in two contests • registered a career-best four groundballs at Canisius (March 25) in addition to three caused turnovers and two draw controls • followed by tying her career-high with four groundballs with two caused turnovers in 12-10 upset of #11 Princeton (March 28).
2014 SEASON
Appeared in 12 games with three starts • collected a career-best eight groundballs, five points and three assists • dished out first career assist in loss at Georgetown (Feb. 15) • posted a career-high three points at Temple (March 15) on two goals and one assist • also picked up two groundballs, one draw control and one caused turnover against the Owls • tabulated one assist, two groundballs and two caused turnovers at George Washington (March 22).
2013 SEASON
Started seven of 15 games played for the Blue Hens in rookie campaign • fifth on the team with 15 draw controls • finished season with four goals in addition to 10 caused turnovers and four groundballs • opened career with eight draw controls against nationally-ranked Georgetown (2/16), a mark that is good for second in school and Delaware Stadium history • recorded first career goal against Monmouth (2/22) in addition to two draw controls and two caused turnovers • registered a season-high four caused turnovers against Denver, another nationally-ranked program, on Feb. 24 • posted at least two draw controls in four contests.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity lacrosse letter winner for the Great Valley High School • helped lead team to two Ches-mont League championships (2010/2012) • earned first team all-league, all-area and Under Armour All-American honors • Philly Showcase Offensive MVP • Honor Roll student • played for Joe Tornetta • also participated in volleyball, cross country, field hockey and indoor track at GVHS.

Alison (Ali) Brooke Karwoski • born October 9, 1993 • daughter of Beth and Rich Karwoski • has one older brother, Richard, and two younger sisters, Sarah and Nicole • majoring in marketing and management information systems • cites her high school lacrosse coach, Joe Tornetta, as the biggest influence on her athletically because he always pushed her to do her best and never accepted anything less • began playing lacrosse in third grade • chose Delaware because she felt it was a perfect fit athletically and academically • interned for Urban Outfitters, Inc. during the summer • gym rat that loves CrossFit • featured in the November 2015 issue of Lacrosse Magazine for her “gym rat” tendencies.
