During the 2019 campaign, Delaware captured the Colonial Athletic Association Regular Season and Tournament titles while going undefeated (6-0) in league play for the fourth straight year.
Settipane worked with Delaware goalies Sydney Rhodes, Lizzie Gaebel and Becca Harbert. Rhodes finished the year as an All-CAA First Team honoree and led the conference with 78.9 win percentage (eighth, NCAA), 1.15 GAA (12th, NCAA), 71.6 save percentage and six shutouts.
A 2016 graduate of Boston College, Settipane has experience as an assistant coach and goalkeeping coach at her alma mater in addition to USA Field Hockey Futures, Worcester State and Hockey Fun. During her tenure with the Eagles, Settipane was crucial to the success of junior goalie Sarah Dwyer, who was twice named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Dwyer gathered a 1.54 GAA with 32 saves and three shutouts.
As a student-athlete, Settipane quickly climbed to the top of the BC record books and remains the programs' all-time winningest goalkeeper with 48 career wins. She earned 2015 NFHCA All-America Second Team honors and also was an NFHCA Northeast Region Second Team All-American in 2014 and 2015 while being named to the All-ACC Second Team in 2014. She currently holds the ninth-best save percentage in program history (.750). She also ranks third in career shutouts in program history (15.1).
Settipane currently serves as the VCAT Program coordinator at the University of Delaware, which is a grant-funded research project directed by the College of Health Sciences to improve the fitness levels of post-September 11 veterans. Within the program, veterans are paired with Blue Hens student-athletes and attend workout and wellness classes together.
In addition to earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from BC, Settipane holds a Master of Business Management (Entrepreneurship) with Merit from Durham University. She is a native of East Greenwich, R.I.
