HIGH SCHOOL
Collected a wealth of championship experience as she helped lead State College Area High School to the first round of the 2012 PIAA Class AA State Championships after winning District IV and the Western Regional under head coach Karin Johnson • named a First Team Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division All-Star and First Team Tri-Valley League All-Star • SCAHS team captain • earned the Outstanding Player Award • led team in scoring as a senior • guided Tam Cortina to the National Futures Championship in 2013 at the Region 5, Site 5B in Lancaster, Pa. • picked as a U19 Alternate Selection for the 2012 National Futures Championship • led the State College Blue Lions Field Hockey Club under direction of Stuart Smith to two Focus College Showcase and National Outdoor College Showcase championships • medalled twice at the Disney Field Hockey Showcase with the Rascals Field Hockey Club and Vista Hot Stix • also played at the U19 National Indoor Tournament, U19 Regional Club Championships, National Hockey Festival and Keystone State Games • academically sound student that earned a spot on the High Honor Roll in addition to the Faculty Scholar Award and Power of the Paws Award (Pride, Achievement, Work, Spirit).

Taylor Morgan Meily • born March 14, 1995 in Reading, Pa. • daughter of Sean and Stacey Meily • has one younger sister, Paige • majoring in Dietetics with the goal to advance for a master’s degree and become a registered dietician and work with cancer patients • favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Flyers • enjoys reading, playing the piano and watching movies • also played the flute in high school • volunteers as a field hockey coach • chose Delaware because it’s a place where she felt comfortable and it is a well-respected institution • the opportunity to be a member of the Blue Hen field hockey program was also too good to pass up.
