Played five years of varsity football, competing two years at Ayer-Shirley Regional High School in Ayer, Mass. and his final three years at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass. • played running back, linebacker, and free safety at Ayer-Shirley for head coach Justin Lamoreaux in 2010-11 and was a linebacker at Lawrence for head coach Paul Zukauskas in 2012-13 • led Ayer-Shirley to a two-year record of 13-9 and Lawrence to a three-year mark of 19-7, including a 9-1 record in 2014 when the team won league title and captured the New England championship • team captain at Lawrence • earned all-league honors each of his final three seasons at Lawrence • led Lawrence in tackles in each of his three seasons.
