Sammi Shivock

Sammi Shivock joined the University of Delaware men’s lacrosse staff as the new director of operations in July of 2021.
Shivock is no stranger to Delaware as she has been a part of the Blue Hen family since 2015 as an assistant softball coach for several years before transitioning into her most recent role as the club sports coordinator in 2018.
As the club sports coordinator she co-managed the daily operations for Delaware’s 37 club sport teams, which consists of around 1,400 participants. Shivock additionally oversaw program community service efforts and was at the helm of the club sports BLUE (Building Leaders Utilizing Education) leadership program.
Prior to her time as the club sports coordinator, she served as an assistant softball coach at Delaware for three seasons. Along with her coaching duties, Shivock managed program operations for the team as well as camp preparation, development and execution for ages six to 18. She additionally played a major role in the planning and execution of specialty games, recruiting visits and community service events.
Before arriving at Delaware, Shivock spent one season as an assistant softball coach at Arcadia. While with the Knights, she helped prepare and plan team travel and special recruiting day festivities, facilitated community relations activities and fundraising opportunities, and aided with successful management of academics, athletics and overall wellbeing of the student-athletes on top of her regular coaching responsibilities.
Shivock also gained operations experience with Ripken Youth Baseball.
Shivock earned a degree in sport management from Liberty University in 2014, and was a four-year member of the Flames softball team.
