University of Delaware Men's and Women's Basketball Season Tickets Currently On Sale

NEWARK, Del. – Great savings on combination deals as well as new season family packs and a UD alumni section highlight 2011-2012 University of Delaware men's and women's basketball season ticket packages that are currently on sale.
Center section seats (sections 7, 8, 17, and 18) for men's season tickets cost only $190, less than $14 per game. All other chairback seats cost just $165 for the general public and $132 for UD employees and senior citizens (ages 60 and older). Bench seats on the south side of the court in sections 5, 9 and 10 are availabe for only $95.
Center section seats for women's season tickets cost just $125, under $11 per game. All other chairback seats cost only $115 for the general public and $92 for UD employees and senior citizens, while bench seats on the south side of the court are available for just $75.
Men's and women's combination season tickets in the center sections cost only $285 for the 26-game home schedule, an average of under $11 per game. All other chairback seats cost $250 for the general public and $200 for UD employees and senior citizens, while wing bench seats are $150 for the season.
Additionally, the family pack returns this season and has been upgraded to five tickets, including three youth and two adult tickets. The family pack has also been upgraded to reserved chairback seating in section 20 behind the Delaware bench. Family packs cost only $195 for men's season tickets, $150 for women's tickets, and $299 for combination season tickets.
Also available this season is an alumni rate available to all UD alums. The new option is available in section 6 at a discounted season rate of just $75 for the men's season and $65 for the women's season, while the combination pack costs only $99 which averages to less than $4 a game. Alumni may purchase up to four tickets at this special rate.
Additionally, courtside seating is available for University of Delaware Athletic Fund (UDAF) members at the Coaches Circle Level ($1000) and above. A minimum donation of $1000 is required per two seats. Season tickets for courtside seats are $500 for men's and women's combination tickets, $350 for men's games only and $200 for women's games only.

Renewal invoices for current season ticket holders have been sent out from the UD Athletic Ticket Office this week.
In addition to guaranteed access to great seats for all of the exciting Blue Hen action, season ticket holders enjoy many benefits, including an invitation to an exclusive Tip-Off Meet & Greet and ticket inventory that is unavailable to the general public. Season ticket holders also have their own online ticketing account to purchase additional tickets, receive exclusive offers and promotions only available to season ticket holders, and have priority access to post-season games.
Season and group tickets can be purchased in person at the UD Athletic Ticket Office in the Delaware Field House from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. They can also be purchased by phone at (302) 831-2257 or online at www.bluehens.com.
The Blue Hen men's basketball team will play 14 regular season games at the Bob Carpenter Center this season, including its home opener against Cornell on November 22. The Delaware women's squad will play 12 home games and opens its campaign by hosting Rhode Island on November 11.
For the second consecutive season, parking will be complementary for all men's and women's basketball home games during the 2011-12 season.
