Reinicker, a defender from Hockessin, Del. (A.I. duPont High School), was one of 24 NCAA Division I student-athletes honored on the two teams and was recognized for her outstanding accomplishments in the classroom.
To be eligible for the team, student athletes must carry a 3.3 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale, have at least sophomore eligibility and be a starter or key reserve for their respective teams. Her grade point average was the third highest of those picked to the second team. She becomes the first Delaware women's soccer student-athlete to earn a spot on the CoSIDA team since Megan Delaney earned second team honors in 2009.
A three-year letterwinner, Reinicker appeared in all 21 games and started 20 for the Blue Hens as a first-year starter this past fall, helping the team post a record of 10-7-4 (5-3-3 CAA) and advance to the CAA Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2005. She anchored a defense that ranked fourth in the CAA in scoring defense, allowing just 1.14 goals per game, and posted five shutouts. For her career, Reinicker has played 29 games with 20 starts.
