UD vs. UNC Wilmington POSTPONED; To Be Made Up Later (Sept. 23, 2011)

NEWARK, Del. – The Friday night tilt between the University of Delaware women's soccer team and the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington has been postoned until later in the season due to a torrential downpour in the greater Newark area.
With over an inch and a half of standing water on the Delaware Mini-Stadium playing field, the officials deemed the surface unplayable.
Delaware (4-3-1) is still scheduled to take on the Panthers of Georgia State University at home on Sunday afternoon.
Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
