University of Delaware Men's and Women's Basketball 2012-13 Single Game Tickets Now On Sale

NEWARK, Del. -- Single game tickets for University of Delaware men's and women's basketball home games for the 2013-13 season are currently on sale.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.bluehens.com/tickets, over the phone by calling the Delaware Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257, or in person at the Bob Carpenter Center on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Floor seating for men's basketball games costs $40, while chairback seating in sections 7, 8, 17 and 18 costs $15. All other chairback seats in sections 15, 16, 19 and 20 are available for $12, while bench seats and end zone seats cost just $8. Women's floor seating is sold out, while women's single game tickets are limited as only bench seating is currently available for $8.
The Delaware women's team will play at least 14 home games at the Bob Carpenter Center this season, with the possibility of additional home games should the Blue Hens advance in the Preseason WNIT. UD, coming off a record-breaking season in which the Blue Hens went 31-2, earned a top 10 ranking and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round, will open its 2012-13 campaign by hosting Sam Houston State in the opening round of the Preseason WNIT on Friday, November 9 at 8 p.m. Plenty of tickets remain for the highly-anticipated season-opener, with all seating general admission. Adult tickets cost $15, youth tickets for fans 17 and under cost $10, senior tickets for fans 60 and older cost $10, and tickets for UD students with a valid ID card cost $5.
The Delaware men's team, which returns four starters and its top five scorers from last year's squad that recorded a nine-game winning streak late in the season and advanced to the College Basketball Invitational, will play 13 games at the Carpenter Center this year, including its home opener against Radford on Tuesday, December 4 at 7 p.m.
Additionally, all-session tickets are now available for the NCAA Division I First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament to be held at the BCC on March 24 and 26. Side court seating tickets cost $40 for the two sessions, while end court seating costs $25. UD students with a valid ID card can purchase all-session tickets for $15.
Season tickets are still on sale as well, although women's basketball season tickets are very limited. Combo packs for both squads cost $500 for floor seating and $400 for center chairback seating in sections 7, 8, 17 and 18, with other chairback seating available for $275. Other combination plans are available for UD employees ($200), senior citizens ($220), bench seating ($150) and UD alumni ($99).
Season ticket floor seating for men's games is available for $350, while season tickets in the center chairback seating costs $180. Other season ticket plans cost $155 for other chairback seating, $125 for UD employees and senior citizens, $85 for bench seating, and $75 for UD alumni.
Women's basketball season ticket floor seating is sold out, while center chairback seats cost $150. Other chairback seats cost $135, UD employee and senior citizen tickets cost $110, bench seating costs $85, and UD alumni season tickets cost $75.
Additionally Family 5-Pack season tickets, including two adult and three youth tickets, are available for $350 for combination season tickets and $199 for both men's and women's season tickets.
Preseaston WNIT tickets are not included in the season ticket packages.
