Trading Card Sets, Bone Marrow Drive Highlight Blue Hen Volleyball?s Final Homestand vs. William & Mary, UNCW on Nov. 9-10

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware volleyball team will close out its regular season next weekend when the Blue Hens host William & Mary and UNCW during a weekend that will be filled with giveaways, discounted tickets, and much more!
On Friday, November 9, Delaware will face the Tribe of William & Mary at 4 p.m. Be one of the first 500 fans to the Bob Carpenter Center and receive part three of the four-part trading card set featuring Katie Hillman, Chandler Bryant, and Karina Evans. Following the match, the 11th-ranked UD women's basketball team will open its season when the Blue Hens face Sam Houston State in the first round of the Preseason WNIT at 8 p.m. Any fan that purchases a ticket to the Preseason WNIT game will receive a free ticket to the volleyball match on Friday. Doors will open at 3 p.m. for the match.
Delaware will then close out its regular season during Senior Night on Saturday, November 10 at 7 p.m., when UD hosts the UNCW Seahawks. The Blue Hens have teamed up with the Be The Match Foundation to coordinate a bone marrow drive to be held on the Bob Carpenter Center concourse from 5:30-7:00 p.m. All fans that join the registry will receive a free ticket to the UD men's basketball game vs. Rider on December 31 at 2 p.m. Be sure to visit www.bluehens.com/matchforamatch for more information regarding the bone marrow drive.
The Saturday match vs. UNCW is also Fan Appreciation Night, when all fans will be able to purchase discounted $5 tickets to the match on gameday. The first 500 fans will receive the final part of the trading card series, featuring UD seniors Alissa Alker, Chelsea Lawrence and Logan Sebastian, along with head coach Bonnie Kenny. This will be the fans' last chance to collect any parts that they missed to create a full team set! All Future Hens Club members will receive free admission to this match.
