NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware is “Gettin' Ready for the Madness” by offering basketball fans the opportunity to purchase a 2-pack game ticket that includes admission to this Saturday's men's basketball final home game of the season as well as tomorrow night's women's basketball matchup at the Bob Carpenter Center for only $12.
The madness has already begun for the Blue Hens as the discounted 2-Pack, on sale the beginning of this week, originally included a choice between tomorrow night's women's game and this Sunday's final home game of the season for the ladies. However, this Sunday's Feb. 26 game is now SOLD OUT so for those who don't have their tickets yet, this Thursday night will be your last chance to see the Blue Hens Women's Basketball team in action at home.
The Women's Basketball (24-1, 15-0 CAA) team will take on George Mason (13-13, 7-8 CAA) tomorrow night, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Bob. The Delaware women are currently ranked No. 9 nationally in the Associated Press poll and No. 8 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll, have won 14 straight games this season and are currently unbeaten both at home and in league play. Their home winning streak extends back a year to February 24, 2011.
The Blue Hens Men's Basketball (15-12, 10-6 CAA) squad continued to roll this past Saturday in their 68-64 Sears BracketBusters victory over Hampton at the Bob Carpenter Center and extended its winning streak to six games, the longest win streak for the men's team in over a decade. Fans are encouraged to purchase the 2-Pack today and be there to root on the Blue Hens to another victory as both the men and women squads look to continue their home winning streaks. Fans can purchase this offer either online by clicking here, over the phone at (302) 831-2257 or in-person at the UD Athletic Ticket Office in the Delaware Field House, Room 101 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday of this week. Fees apply and all tickets are subject to availability.
Doors to the arena for both games open 90 minutes prior to game time. Please continue to plan to arrive early to avoid lines and traffic.
