University of Delaware Women's Golfer Baralee Theinthong Named To NGCA All-American Scholar Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- University of Delaware women's golfer Baralee Theinthong, who recently completed her freshman season with the Blue Hens, was named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division I All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced last week.
Theinthong, who has a 3.93 grade point average as a university studies major through her first year at UD, was one of 585 women's collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor.
Theinthong competed in all but one tournament for the Blue Hens in Delaware's inaugural 2011-12 campaign, ranking sixth on team with an 82.89 stroke average. She recorded six rounds in the 70s during the season, including a season-low 75 against Cal State Monterey Bay on March 28.
Theinthong also was named to the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll this year, and earned the UD Team Sportsmanship Award.
