Ian Hennessy. "I think it is a pretty neat story. UD's engineering department is internationally renowned and to have many of the men's soccer team in that school is a badge of honor for us and a genuine credit to these student-athletes. Tomorrow is a very difficult road trip for us against the defending CAA champions (Northeastern) and a game, if won, may allow us back to the CAA playoffs for the third time in four years."
Freshman standout Guillermo Delgado has led the Blue Hens all season. The Tres Cantos, Spain native leads Delaware in goals (10) and points (23) and currently leads all of Division I men's soccer in points per game (2.09). The rookie ranks second nationally in goals, points, and goals per game (0.91).
Delgado and the Blue Hens continue CAA play tomorrow, Oct. 16, when they travel to Boston to take on Northeastern at 6 p.m.
