Delaware Women's Basketball Head Coach Tina Martin Announces 2013 Girls? Basketball Camp Dates

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware women's basketball head coach Tina Martin and her staff have announced plans for the 2013 Girls' Basketball Camps.
Delaware will host two sessions this summer for girls aged 8 to 17 at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The first session will run from June 17-21 with session two following August 5 through 9.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with before and after care available at an extra cost from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The camp objectives include teaching and developing fundamental basketball skills and enabling each girl to increase her understanding of the game.
Additionally, the camp will provide competition, enabling each player to apply skills and techniques as they are learned and to help develop each player's attitude and philosophy about basketball and life through good sportsmanship and fair play.
The cost of one session of camp is $250, with a $25 discount for each participant in a group of 10 or more.
Walk-up registration, if available, will be $255 on the first day of camp.
Campers must bring their own lunch and beverages. Candy will be available for sale at the camp. The camp includes a free camp t-shirt, awards and guest speakers.
In her 17 seasons with the Blue Hens, Martin has collected over 330 victories and has led her teams to four conference titles, nine post-season appearances, and 11 seasons of 20-plus wins.
The 2011-12 team posted a record of 31-2, earned a top 10 national ranking, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
This year's team is 23-3 with a No. 18 national Top 25 ranking.
