Delaware Varsity Fours Produces Second Place Finish at Murphy Cup Regatta

The Blue Hens Varsity Fours team of Kate Flood, Angela Quinn, Danielle Lawler, Rachel Boudart, and Molly Gardner earned a second place finish behind Buffalo with a time of 8:38.88.
Holly Dodge, Sarah Slotoroff, Jenny Kohler, Ally Crossman, Bethany Porter, Corey Holloway, Bethany Callaway, Calla Cissel, and Jamie Noce tallied fourth place finish in the Varsity Eights with a time of 7:06.93.
The Second Varsity Fours team of Shannon Bell, Sharon Dominguez, , Jennifer Boone, Kathleen Garrity, and Curtira Williams produced a fourth place finish in their heat with a time of 9:06.46.
In the Novice Fours race, the Delaware team of Jeanie Kontos, Kate Sneddon, Jessica Cooper, Kathleen Garrity and Nicole DeGisi finished fourth with a time of 9:32.21.
The Hens added a fourth place finish in the Novice Eights division behind the team of Annie Waskover, Erin Dunne, Haley Northrup, Anne Livingstone, Alex Cruz, Megan Kirby, Laurell Clark, Samantha Noel and Sarah Tenebaum.
Delaware will return to action on April 7 at the Occoquan Sprints in Fairfax, Va.
