Blue Hens Amanda Terzian, Nathalie Filler Finish Tied For 19th Place at Pure Silk Championship

POWELL, Ohio -- University of Delaware women's golfers Amanda Terzian and Nathalie Filler finished tied for 19th place at the three-day Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championship held this week at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club.
The competition opened on Tuesday with an alternate shot format, when Terzian (at right)and Filler combined to shoot a 13 over par 85 on the par 72 course. Wednesday's action featured a best ball format, as Terzian and Filler combined to card a four under par 68. The Blue Hens were one of just 10 groups that shot below 70 on Wednesday.
The tournament then concluded on Thursday when the pair competed in the two player competition. Terzian carded a six over par 39-39-78 which included birdies on 4, 17 and 18, while Filler posted a nine over par 39-42-81 that featured birdies on the first, ninth and 12th holes.
For the tournament Terzian and Filler finished with an 85-68-159-312 score, tying for 19th place out of 42 squads.
