Delaware Volleyball To Hold UD Faculty/Staff Appreciation Match on September 14

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware will hold a UD Faculty/Staff Appreciation Match during the Blue Hen volleyball team's match vs. Furman in the Delaware Invitational at the Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday, September 14.
Each UD Faculty/Staff member can receive up to four $1 tickets to the match by visiting the Delaware Ticket Office located in the Bob Carpenter Center in person, either in advance or on gameday. A valid UD Faculty/Staff ID card must be presented to receive the discounted tickets. Each ticket grants admission to the Saturday p.m. session of the tournament which includes Sacred Heart vs. Rutgers at 4 p.m. and Delaware vs. Furman at 7 p.m.
Tickets are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Delaware, which finished 16-14 last season and advanced to the CAA Tournament championship match, returns four starters as well as sophomore libero Ariel Shonk, a third team All-CAA selection and the 2012 CAA Defensive Specialist of the Year. Sophomore Mackenzie Olsen, who joined Shonk on the CAA All-Rookie Team a year ago, also returns for the Blue Hens, as well as frontline hitters Katie Hank, Katie Hillman and Chandler Bryant.
