• After playing 15 non-conference games to open the season, Delaware begins Colonial Athletic Association play at home vs. Hofstra.
• Delaware is 7-5 during its 12 CAA openers, including wins in each of the last three seasons.
• The game wraps up a three-game homestand for the Blue Hens, who have won their last three home contests. UD has not won four straight at home since a six-game streak from Jan. 21 through Feb. 25, 2012.
• Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware, 48-28, but the Blue Hens have taken the last five meetings during the previous two seasons. The teams last met in the 2013 CAA Tournament Quarterfinals, with the Blue Hens posting a 62-57 win over the Pride at the Richmond Coliseum.
• Delaware finished with an 8-7 non-league mark, its most non-conference wins since the 1999-2000 squad also won eight.
