Delaware Set to Face Towson and James Madison in Final Two Home Games of Season

The Blue Hens (6-7-1, 2-2-1 CAA) have lost their last two games, but have won three of their last four games at home. UD boasts a 4-2 home record this season.
Scott GrzendaNikki Adams leads UD in goals with four this season, while Natalie Zelenky has recorded three goals. Andi Arnold leads the Blue Hens with four assists and Elise Krause is second on the team with three.
Friday's matchup between Delaware and Towson will be 23rd meeting between the two programs. The first game between the Blue Hens and Tigers took place in 1990 and Delaware holds a 15-6-1 advantage in the series. UD has won four straight meetings against the Tigers with the most recent victory coming last season as the Blue Hens defeated Towson 1-0.
Katie Ponce leads the Tigers with three goals on the season, while Gabby Scirica and Natalie Pinkney leads Towson with two assists each.
The Tigers (3-8-3, 0-4-1 CAA) come into Friday's contest winless in their previous six games. Towson tied Charleston in its last time out and has only scored three goals in its last six games. The Tigers have yet to win a CAA game or a road game this season.
Sunday's matchup between Delaware and James Madison will 14th meeting between the Dukes and Blue Hens. The first contest between the two programs took place in 1991 and JMU leads the all-time series 8-3-2. The Dukes defeated UD 2-1 last season in the series' most recent game.
Coming into the weekend, the Dukes (9-6, 4-1 CAA) have won three of their last four games. James Madison's 4-1 record and 12 point total puts it in a tie for second place in the CAA standings behind Drexel.
Ashley Herndon leads the Dukes in scoring with four goals this season. Both Herndon and Sam Lofton have tallied a team and CAA-high seven assists this year.
Sunday will mark the final home game for Delaware seniors Andi Arnold, Rachel Vaccaro, Allegra Gray, and Jess Figueroa. These seniors will be honored during a pregame ceremony.
The Blue Hens will also celebrate the 25th season of Delaware women's soccer Sunday. Approximately 40 former players are expected to take part in the celebration as apart of the Homecoming weekend festivities.
Delaware will take on Towson at 7 p.m. Friday and face James Madison at 1 p.m. Sunday. Both games will take place at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium.
