Delaware Travels to William and Mary for CAA Road Contest Saturday

Delaware (9-4, 2-1 CAA) comes into Saturday's game off a 2-1 double overtime victory over Hofstra Wednesday. Delaware is currently tied for fourth in the CAA standings with six points. The CAA's top six teams are only separated by just one point in the conference standings.
The Blue Hens lead the CAA with 25 goals this season and are second in the conference with 17. Guillermo Delgado leads the team and CAA in shots (47), goals (nine), and game-winning goals (five). Delgado has scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of double overtime in Delaware's last two victories.
Joe Dipre is second on the team with four goals and Ben Asante is the active leader in assists for the Blue Hens with three on the season.
Saturday will be the 16th all-time meeting between Delaware and William and Mary. The first meeting between the two programs took place in 1987 and the Tribe has dominated the all-time series with a 12-2-1 advantage. Delaware's only victories in the series took place in 2006 and last season when the Blue Hens defeated the Tribe 3-1.
The Tribe (5-8-1, 2-2-1 CAA) is tied for first in the CAA coming into Saturday's game. William and Mary defeated Charleston 3-2 in overtime in the Tribe's last game. Christ Albiston leads the team and ranks third in the CAA with six goals while Josh West has tallied a team-high five assists on the season, which ranks him second in the CAA.
The matchup between Delaware and William and Mary is set to begin at 7 p.m. at the Tribe's Martin Family Stadium.
