Delaware Women's Golfers in Sixth Place Following First Day of Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The University of Delaware women's golf team sits in sixth place out of 12 teams following the first day of the Princeton Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Hens posted team scores of 306 and 307 on Saturday, finishing the day with a two-round total of 613. Columbia and Yale are tied for the team lead at 591, while Rollins resides in third place with a 600 score.
Andi Slane is tied for 17th place following her eight over par day of 76-76-152, while freshman Rachel Lee fired a nine over par 77-76-153 to end Saturday's action in a tie for 19th place.Junior Nathalie Filler is tied for 33rd place after carding a 13 over par 76-81-157, while sophomore Vitoria Teixeira is tied for 55th place following her 19 over par day of 82-81-163.
The third and final round of the Princeton Invitational will begin on Sunday at 8 a.m.
