“I was very pleased to see the effort put in by both teams throughout this series.,” said University of Delaware head coach. “This was the most competitive Fall series we have had here in quite some time. As a coaching staff, we saw a lot of good things over the last few days and also saw some areas we need to address as we head into skill work these next few weeks. All in all, I really like this ball club and I think the potential to have a great season is there. I expect the guys to continue to put in the hard work and build off a great fall.”
The Blue Hens World Series was the final event for UD's fall schedule. Delaware will start the 2015 season with a three game series at Wake Forest beginning Feb. 13.
